What is direct selling?

Direct Selling is a marketing technique where product or service is sold directly to consumers away from a fixed retail location. Direct selling occurs when sales person serves their customers in their homes, offices or in any other locations. It is usually conducted in a face-to-face manner - either where products are demonstrated to an individual , or to a group or where a catalogue is left with the consumer and where the direct seller call as later to collect orders.

What is Direct Selling Association?

Direct Selling Association in Turkey was founded in August, 1994. Direct Sales Association has set a number of principles and standards to support consumer rights and independent vendors dealing with direct sales. Direct Sales Association, which operates throughout Turkey, is a member of the Federation of European Direct Selling Associations (SELDIA) in central Belgium, Brussels. It is also a member of the Federation of World Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) in central Washington, DC; where the topics such as consumer rights, trade, and economy are discussed.
